Government Scholarship
Each year, Taiwan (R.O.C.) government offers scholarships to international students coming to Taiwan to study through Taiwan Embassies and Taipei Representative Offices around the world. Government scholarships are often generous and can cover awardees’ both tuition fees and living costs in Taiwan. Please visit here to check with Taiwan’s representative office in your country to learn which scholarship is applicable for your case. The most popular scholarships that IMICS students received are MOE Taiwan Scholarships.
You can also check if your country’s government has any scholarship program to send students to study abroad.
Please note that, Taiwan government scholarship programs are separate from university admission, thus you have to apply for both separately at the same time. If you get the scholarship but fail to obtain university admission, your scholarship will be cancelled. And recipients of government scholarship cannot at the same time receive other scholarships.
