三封推薦信（英文，由推薦人直接透過 USC 系統提交）
英語能力證明（TOEFL, IELTS, PTE, Duolingo）-必須擇一提交
GRE-不需要，無論學位是否為英文授課、或母語是否為英文，都不需要繳交。若選擇提交GRE作爲評審參考補充，必須是五年內的有效成績，總分 300 分（語文 Verbal 153 分，數理 Quantitative 147 分），以及寫作（Analytical Writing）4.0 分以上。

5️ 學分要求與轉換説明
MMC 碩士：36 學分（含 NCCU研究所課程可抵免 12 學分）
MA 碩士：32 學分（含 NCCU研究所課程可抵免 12 學分）

典型轉換USC課程 | 第一門課：JOUR 701: 大衆傳播研究方法第二門課：JOUR 702: 傳播理論（註：過去最常見的兩門課是 JOUR 701以及 JOUR 702，這兩門課先前已被認定與NCCU學生第一學期常修的研究方法與傳播理論課程等同。） 第三與第四門課：通常以 JOUR 790（大眾傳播專題）抵免，NCCU的多門研究所課程都有資格被抵免為 JOUR 790。只要研究主題不同，學生也可以多次申請 JOUR 790 學分。 | 提供 NCCU 的正式成績單，附上欲轉換的課程，通常會在抵達 UofSC校園後不久進行。 |
轉換條件 | 研究所課程、修課 6 年內、成績 B 以上、課程適合納入UofSC新聞與大眾傳播研究所(SJMC)。 若 NCCU 學生想申請轉換的課程並非新聞與大眾傳播相關（例如英文、歷史、政治、心理、行銷），則需由 UofSC對應學院/系所審核，決定該課程能否計入MA或MMC課程中。例如，行銷管理、消費者行為或行銷研究課程，則需由 UofSC的Darla Moore 商學院進行審核。 | 語言不限英文, 這仍需逐門課審查，無法保證所有申請都會被接受。 |

MMC 學生：Comprehensive exam綜合考試 + Practicum/Internship實習 / 實務課程
MA 學生：6學分論文指導課程 + Comprehensive exam 綜合考試+ 論文口試
