  Our Students

Chen, I-Lien

My area of research interest revolves around the communication on social media in social movements. I will most likely conduct the research in my lovely hometown, Taichung, where some socially-conscious students are bonded to make an impact to the public; the social landscape can be rather different from that in Taipei. On the other hand, I am learning Arabic and would like to seek opportunities to study or work in the Middle East. Upon graduating from IMICS, I am hoping to either work as a journalist in international news agencies or pursue a PhD in the Erasmus program.
